Coach Matt Miller, a proud Eau Claire, WI native, brings a lifetime of baseball experience and a deep passion for player development to the Patriots Performance Training Center (PPTC). A former standout player and coach for the Eau Claire Cavaliers, Matt's journey through the game has been marked by dedication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

Matt’s playing career began at the collegiate level, where he honed his skills and developed a strong foundation in the game. His college baseball experience gave him the technical knowledge and competitive mindset that now fuel his coaching philosophy. After college, he returned to Eau Claire to play for the Cavaliers, eventually stepping into a coaching role where he mentored players and helped guide the team through successful seasons.

For the past five+ years, Coach Miller has been actively training both baseball and softball athletes, working with players of all ages and skill levels. His focus has always been on developing well-rounded athletes—those who are strong not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. His training emphasizes fundamentals, advanced skill work, and a deep understanding of the game.

Now at the helm of the training program at the Patriots Performance Training Center, Coach Miller is excited to continue growing the sport he loves in the community he calls home. He is especially passionate about working with area youth players, helping them build confidence, improve their skills, and deepen their love for baseball and softball.

“My goal is to make the Patriots Performance Training Center one of the premier training facilities in the region,” says Coach Miller. “I want this to be a place where athletes come not only to get better, but to grow as people and teammates.”

With his strong local ties, collegiate and semi-pro experience, and a proven track record in player development, Coach Matt Miller is poised to make a lasting impact on the future of the game in Eau Claire and beyond.
