Coach Miller

Coach Matt Miller, a proud Eau Claire, WI native, brings a lifetime of baseball experience and a deep passion for player development to the Patriots Performance Training Center (PPTC). A former standout player and coach for the Eau Claire Cavaliers, Matt's journey through the game has been marked by dedication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

Matt’s playing career began at the collegiate level, where he honed his skills and developed a strong foundation in the game. His college baseball experience gave him the technical knowledge and competitive mindset that now fuel his coaching philosophy. After college, he returned to Eau Claire to play for the Cavaliers, eventually stepping into a coaching role where he mentored players and helped guide the team through successful seasons.

For the past five+ years, Coach Miller has been actively training both baseball and softball athletes, working with players of all ages and skill levels. His focus has always been on developing well-rounded athletes—those who are strong not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. His training emphasizes fundamentals, advanced skill work, and a deep understanding of the game.

Coach McEathron

Lakken is a proud Chippewa Falls native and lifelong softball enthusiast. A 2024 graduate of Chi-Hi, she played varsity softball all four years of her high school career and began coaching as a junior — quickly discovering her passion for helping young athletes grow.

She started playing softball at age 5 and found her love for pitching at 13. After high school, Lakken attended UW-Eau Claire to explore elementary education, but ultimately pivoted to a career in dental care. She now works at a dental office in Eau Claire, which gives her the flexibility to return to what she truly loves: coaching and sharing the game with the next generation.

When she’s not on the field, you’ll find Lakken cruising to music, dominating weekly trivia nights, or resisting the urge to road trip to every national park in sight. (She’s already planning a Grand Tetons adventure for summer 2026!)

Lakken brings energy, experience, and a genuine love for the game to every session — and she’s excited to help your athlete take their skills to the next level.
